Congratulations to Orange County Government on the unveiling of the new Bird Blind at the Johns Lake Conservation Area! A Bird Blind or Hide is a structure used to camouflage while watching/photographing birds. These beautiful wetlands are home to Limpkins, Little Blue Herons, Ospreys, and migrating Belted Kingfishers and Swallow-tailed Kites. We spent a few hours assisting the Orange County Environmental Volunteer & Internship Program removing old fencing on the Johns Lake property as they prepare for new conservation efforts and visitation to the site. #EarthMonth #OrangeCounty #Volunteers
