In 1976, Cocoa Beach Realty was originally founded by Earl Buchan as Heritage Real Estate and Development. The company was the dominating real estate brokerage firm in the 1970’s and 1980’s in Central Brevard County area. The company was sold in 1987 to an investor, but was later bought back in 1994 by Earl Buchan. The successor real estate company was renamed Cocoa Beach Realty.

Earl Buchan sold the company in 1995 to Robert S. Kellar, Sr. Mr. Kellar Sr. was in the Army with Earl for many years, and had worked with him as the Sales Manager at Heritage and Cocoa Beach Realty.

In 1996, Robert Kellar Jr. began assisting his father with the real estate operations of Cocoa Beach Realty. He had previous experience as a financial officer for many major real estate developers in Florida, and at that time was the Broker/Owner of a commercial real estate brokerage company in Port Orange. Mr. Kellar Jr. purchased a stake in the company in 1999, and in 2005, the company became the Coldwell Banker affiliate known as Coldwell Banker Cocoa Beach Realty.

In September of 2010, the operations of the Titusville office of another Coldwell Banker affiliate were taken over by Coldwell Banker Cocoa Beach Realty. The office in Titusville was named Coldwell Banker Coast Realty, and is a subsidiary of Cocoa Beach Realty.

The daily operations of Coldwell Banker Coast Realty are handled by Coldwell Banker Cocoa Beach Realty and Robert Kellar Jr. The objective at Coldwell Banker Coast Realty is to be at the forefront of the ever changing demands of the profession and our clients.
